Since our beginnings in 1982, Cromwell Environmental (Formerly Ramsey Environmental Group) has specialized in the relationship between people and the buildings and environment in which they live and work. Our expertise encompasses all aspects of Green Building and includes Indoor Air Quality, Green Construction, as well as Solar Design and Solar Installation (both photovoltaic and solar hot water). We began designing and installing solar on a limited basis in the 1980s with a strong refocus on this area beginning with the purchase of the firm by Aron Cromwell in 1999. Hannah Cromwell began working with the firm in 2000 and purchased a majority interest in 2005 and became our President. Respect for our natural world has always been important to the Cromwell’s; in fact they first met while both studying Ecology at the University of Kansas. Hannah and Aron’s son Alder, has a keen interest in Solar and plans on taking over the firm some day. Through March of 2010 Cromwell Environmental has performed over 68 solar power installs in 5 states; these have included commercial buildings, institutions, and homes. Our CEO, Aron Cromwell holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and is the area’s only certified solar installer.
