Stewart Wadsworth, Solar Energy Consultant Stewart has been working in the solar industryStewart Wadsworth designing, selling and installing solar electric systems since the lights went out in 2001. With unique experience in all aspects of solar contracting, Stewart has a wealth of knowledge in design, sales, installation, business management and training in solar electric and thermal systems as well small wind systems. Most recently he worked with a Sunpower Premiere Dealer, Independent Energy Systems of Santa Cruz, before that, Renewable Energy Concepts (REC) of San Luis Obispo, and initially was the Sales Manager at EcoEnergies of Sunnyvale. With this wide variety of experience, Stewart has countless examples of successful businesses and demonstrated best practices directly in the solar industry as well over 350 satisfied solar customers. He lives in Northern California and is focused on helping the solar industry reach lofty goals for installing solar through training contractors and helping them expand into and improve their business in the solar sector. Being committed to the green movement, Stewart is also a Co-Chair of the U.S. Green Building Council Northern California Chapter for the Monterey Bay Area. Stewart has contributed to the development of green building standards on the advisory board to StepUp2Green, and permitting streamline processes in Monterey County, including working with the new fire codes for solar power systems.
