Mountain Hot Tub has been the best choice in Bozeman for almost 30 years. Established in 1979 by Tom Walker and Scott Smith, MHT started out installing redwood hot tubs, building them one at a time. The company now is one of the most successful of its kind in the country. Recognized by Aqua Magazine as one of the Top 100 pool and spa dealers several times over, MHT was inducted into the Aqua 100 Hall of Fame in 2005. With locations in Bozeman, Butte and Helena, MHT services an area of almost 100,000 square miles in Southwest Montana, with 20 employees dedicated to one thing - our spa customers. Our staff is trained in water chemistry and our in-store testing facility makes it easy for our customers to enjoy clear, clean water while using as few chemicals as possible for clean, clear water. Our Service and Installation staff is well trained in taking care of spas in our harsh climate. All of our installation and service technicians are sent to training at the manufacturer for certification and on-going training keeps them up to date on the latest technology. Our installation crews are experienced in delivering spas in any climate - winter is one of our busiest times. MHT provides them with the training, tools and equipment to put a spa just about anywhere, in just about any weather condition. The company maintains a fleet of service and delivery vehicles to keep 8 to 10 technicians in the field all across Southwest Montana year-round. We believe the product we sell is the by far best that there is available and that service is what keeps our customers coming back for their second or third spa. In 2003, Mountain Hot Tub built a state-of-the-art facility along Huffine Lane. We are able to keep our inventory of new spas in dry heated storage, ready for delivery anytime. The repair facility and Service Center Office are also part of the structure. We maintain a parts inventory to care for virtually every year and model of Hot Spring spa that we’ve sold - over 7,000 spas just around the Bozeman area alone. Our repair facility has been used by the factory to train other technicians around our region and the shop foreman is recognized as one of the best in the business. We refurbish and re-sell trade-in spas as well, keeping them from filling our land-fills and making high-quality spas available at every price range.

We are locally owned and operated in Bozeman, Montana, conveniently located on Huffine Lane, Four Corners at the light, 80 miles north of the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park and 35 miles from beautiful Big Sky, Montana. Established in 1992, Spas and Sports was purchased and renamed Spas and Home Recreation in 1998. The store expanded and later moved from Belgrade to the Four Corners area of Bozeman. Today Spas and Home Recreation boasts the largest showroom of its kind in Montana.
