In 2007, Jason Smith, a former United States Army Veterinary Technician started ReALife LLC as Hardin County, Kentucky's first dog waste removal service by creating and introducing PetCorps Brand Dog Waste Removal. That same year, he began accepting requests for pet sitting. A year later, an opportunity presented itself for the company to accept its first dog walking client. In the fall of 2009, the company discontinued its pet sitting and dog walking service to focus on dog waste removal. This August, the company reintroduced pet sitting and dog walking to its offering mix when Jeannie Smith lost her job at a daycare when the daycare closed down. The company is Christian-owned and operated. ReALife LLC is a member of the Association of Professional Animal Waste Specialists (aPaws) and is insured by Pet Sitters Associates LLC.
